I believe that each and every one of us has a level of creativity to one degree or another. Some more than others. But I believe it is up to us to develop and nurture any given talent and watch it expand or let it fall by the wayside.

My grandmother played the violin, as well as my uncle and a cousin. Mom always said that her brother got the sweetest notes from his violin. I inherited a great appreciation for good music from both of my parents.

And now, another generation has just discovered the violin; actually, he is learning it in school. What a fabulous opportunity for him to get a taste of it and discover whether or not it is worth his while to pursue it, and grow in his ability.

He loves least for now. A budding musician? Only time will tell. But he certainly has the nature for it; he is a kind and gentle, sweet and sensitive young man. And he certainly has artistic interests and abilities. Thank you for sharing this time with me. Keep practicing; you never know where it may take you!
