SEMPER FI

Seems like he just graduated from high school. Oh wait...he did! And now, here he is a marine. How proud I am of him. The commitment of a young man as he trains and prepares to dedicate his life in service to our nation, protecting the freedoms that we all hold dear. We can never take them for granted. Such sacrifice is made to keep our country strong and free. Such courage. I, for one, will forever be grateful to those who serve. Thank you does not say enough.

They take great pride in him...their son and brother; it was hard to watch him leave and they miss him greatly, they are tight-knit as a family. But they are oh so proud of him.

Welcome Little One

The anticipation, the planning, the expectations...then, suddenly your life changes forever as a new little person joins your family. What a blessing that is...such a gift from God. Life is to be treasured and nurtured. This little one will grow up way too fast. Enjoy her innocence, fully experience every little nuance as she takes in all of life around her, as she learns continually from her surroundings.

Just an adorable little bundle. Can you believe the hair?? I just love to see an abundance of locks on such a tiny little person?...just fabulous, absolutely perfect. She is a treasure for sure...and baby makes four.

WILLIAMS

Perfect fall day, fabulous weather, magnificent color in the trees...chilly, foggy mornings that clear into the most comfortable of days. I just love this time of year. Perfect time , great lighting, for those family portraits.

Lots of love in this family, you can really see the way they adore each other. They were a pleasure to spend time with...the little guy, is so full of life. His mother says I bring it out in him. Hmmm...I confess I have a soft spot for the kids and love to see them come to life and be playful. That is what makes this fun...let down and be yourself!

Thank you Williams Family, for allowing me to have this day with you!

TINY DANCER

Even Tiny Dancers need headshots! This is one active little dancer full of grace. She is competitive and keeps pretty busy with her activities. What a cutie! And the hair...lots of fabulous, healthy hair...about as polite as a young girl can be, as well!! A real charmer.

She was a pleasure to spend time with and most and anxious to accommodate. When I asked if we could shoot in her bedroom, she was more than happy to lead the way. Personally, I think everyone should have their childhood bedroom documented for the memories.

Best of luck to you, Sweet Thing! My hope is that you have much success in what you love doing!

STRINGS

I believe that each and every one of us has a level of creativity to one degree or another. Some more than others. But I believe it is up to us to develop and nurture any given talent and watch it expand or let it fall by the wayside.

My grandmother played the violin, as well as my uncle and a cousin. Mom always said that her brother got the sweetest notes from his violin. I inherited a great appreciation for good music from both of my parents.

And now, another generation has just discovered the violin; actually, he is learning it in school. What a fabulous opportunity for him to get a taste of it and discover whether or not it is worth his while to pursue it, and grow in his ability.

He loves it...at least for now. A budding musician? Only time will tell. But he certainly has the nature for it; he is a kind and gentle, sweet and sensitive young man. And he certainly has artistic interests and abilities. Thank you for sharing this time with me. Keep practicing; you never know where it may take you!

ARIZONA

One fabulous day in October. One fabulously happy couple! Erin and Shane were a joy to work with, gentle, spontaneous...just all around fun!

These are just a few of the engagement shots that were taken in Cave Creek. A photo/guest book will be made from them for the wedding. The ceremony will be equally fabulous...in Mexico.

Congratulations and best wishes to the charming couple! Thanks for allowing me to be a part of it.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE...A MILESTONE

Over the Labor Day weekend, we joined together with family and dear friends to celebrate a remarkable woman on the occasion of her birthday! Every year is special and worthy of recognition...but on those milestones, we kick it up a notch! Linda's husband, Ron, and daughters, Kimberly and Tristan (along with their husbands, Mike and Phil) went to great lengths to put on a fabulous spread...they really did it up right! We thoroughly enjoyed an evening with special friends! Happy Birthday, Linda...may you celebrate many, many more!!
We slipped away briefly to take a few family shots. What a precious family they are. The kids were all a little sugared up and not really wanting to be pulled away from the party...but they cooperated and had fun with it.

WINDSOR

What a privilege to have time again with the Vice family of Windsor. And what more beautiful country for a backdrop than the lovely Sonoma wine country? We shot at various locations near Windsor...lots of laughs and good times. We ended the evening at a new eatery...The Wurst Place. Good times, good friends, good food!! Thanks for allowing me to save some memories!!

When in a vineyard.....

1940s?...except for the skirt length, of course

Three generations of beautiful women....

A little man-to-man...LOVE these precious, unexpected father/son moments!!
